Hannah Read holds an MEng in Biomedical Engineering, is studying towards a DipHE in Operating Department Practice, and is the founding editor of The Guts of It. She currently works as a Healthcare Support Worker within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and is interested in the future of healthcare, particularly in relation to degrowth and the anthropocene.
Chester Cornford is a mental health nurse and member of Nurses United. He is the co-founder of Clubber2Clubber, a grassroots initiative which aims to promote mental health and wellbeing in Scotland’s club community and night life industry.
Nancy Hervey Bathurst works in cultural insight and strategy for organisations across health, media and lifestyle sectors. She writes on film and arts outside of this.
Ben Kritikos is a worker at NHS Scotland and co host of the podcast Spaghetti For Brains. He also publishes a newsletter at spaghettiforbrains.substack.com.
Mohasin Ahmed holds a MA in Public Health and is currently working for an independent advocacy organisation, facilitating Collective Advocacy groups for people with lived experience of mental health issues from LGBTQI+ and ethnic minority communities. She also works as a Public Health Practitioner, developing community engagement processes to bring lived experience perspective to research. Her interests are linked to community empowerment and the decolonisation of healthcare and research.
Giancarlo Bell is a junior doctor based in Melbourne. He is a member of the BMA Broad Left and Doctors in Unite.
